This past Saturday, our Corporate team brought the heat to The Exceptional Foundation’s 20th Annual Chili Cook-off, one of Birmingham’s favorite annual fundraisers. The Chili Cook-Off is a family-friendly event, featuring live music, a kids zone, beverages, and all the chili you can eat. Proceeds directly benefit The Exceptional Foundation’s programs for adults and youth with intellectual disabilities.
While our CREI Chili Madness team did not score the winning slot, our smoked brisket chili, cooked by our Asset Manager, Trip Reed, was still a hit. We had a great time connecting with over 100 of Birmingham’s local businesses and getting to know our community.
A big thank you to The Exceptional Foundation for letting us participate and we hope next year our chili will be a slam dunk!
